NABI started its online tutorials both for the professionals and public in October 2020 under the dynamic and thoughtful guidance of President, Dr Sanjeev Uppal. The sudden setback to entire human race on this globe due to COVID-19 pandemic was both shocking and terrifying for everyone. So, the concept behind starting the webinars was to continue the academic endeavor of NABI so that all the members feel connected to each other at both the national and international level. The layout of the academic plan was conceived by Dr Sanjeev Uppal and approved by its all EXCO members. A decision was made to conduct online sessions for both burn professionals and general public on alternate Sundays. The most unique feature of NABI Online Tutorials was that apart from sharing knowledge and experiences among the burn specialists, the web sessions were also conducted to reach out to the general masses and create awareness about the prevention and first aid management of various modalities of burn injuries. Two of the Executive members, Dr Veena Singh and Dr Raj Manas were given the responsibility as NABI Online Webinar coordinators.
